About Lin

Lin Treadgold studied a creative writing course at the University of Leeds. She spent twelve years teaching driving before advancing to a more senior role, training instructors, and dedicating 25 years to mentorship and instruction. Following years of work in Northeast England, Lin took early retirement and joined her husband in the Netherlands. Later, with more free time, she began to writing stories, never imagining she’d become a published author.
Early retirement gave Lin the chance to finally write the book she’d been working on for months. Following the 2018 release of her second novel, The Tanglewood Affair, Lin is now working on three additional books. Another project, The Trail to Freedom, is scheduled for publication in November 2025. This is a wartime fictional romance based on letters from a WWII Prisoner of War camp in Italy.
Lin, now a Devon resident, is a member of the Romantic Novelists’ Association. She is the group organiser for the Exeter Chapter and is always happy to see new members in the group. Devon and Cornwall writers interested in attending our monthly Exeter meetings should contact ku/oc/oohay//dlogdaert/nil. They are presently meeting at The White Hart Hotel in Exeter at noon on every second Wednesday in the month. January and August there are no meetings.
